PreCouture is a unique European website which allows you to preorder designer collections straight after the runway shows and receive them before they arrive in stores.

  1.     How it works?

PreCouture allows you to select pieces that you will wear next season. You place 30% deposit at the time of order, the pieces are then send into production by the designer, and the balance is paid once your order is ready to be shipped to you.

  1.     Are pieces proposed on the site authentic?

We guarantee the 100% authenticity of every item we sell online.  

  1.     How do I learn about upcoming sales?

We inform our clients through emails once a sale is online. To be informed you just have to sign up for our newsletter. Also, under the Trunkshows section you will find a list of the sales coming out over the following days.

  1.     How do I do if the piece I’m looking for is not part or PreCouture’ selection?

The selection of products are made by PreCouture for each designer collection.  If the item you are searching for is not part of the online selection you can always contact us at or +33 9 84 51 06 72 and if the piece is planned to be produced by the designer, we will order it for you.

  1.     What does it mean when there is a minimum or maximum for an item?

Some designers ask for a minimum of orders for one piece. If we don’t meet this minimum quantity after the sale, we have to cancel the other orders placed. In this case, you are informed directly by email and we refund you immediately.

  1.     How do I change my email address in my account?

  1.     How can I know that you received my order?

Once your order is registered we send you a confirmation email with all the details of your order.

  1.     Why my items have been cancelled?

Sometimes designers cancel items after a production assessment. In this case you will be refunded for the full amount paid.

  1.     Can I cancel my order after I place it and before I receive it?

An order can’t be cancelled except if the shipment has been delayed past the stated delivery window.

  1.     What is my return period?

You have a right of return your items within 14 days after the items have been delivered to you.


  1.     Is my payment secure?

Payment for your order is done using a secure OGONE system (partner of HSBC Bank), which uses the 3D Secure protocol. All data transmitted is encrypted by software and cannot be read by any third party over the network.

  1.     How does the payment work?

When you pre-order on, your intial payment is  30% of the balance of your order. The remaining balance, plus the shipping fees, taxes and duties (when applicable) will be processed on your credit card at the time of dispatch. An email is sent to notify you before so.

  1.     What payment methods does accept PreCouture?

We accept credit/debit cards, Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards.

  1.     Can I pay with multiple credit cards for one order?

In order to pay with separate credit cards, you must place different orders for each individual method of payment.

  1.     Can I pay in currencies other than Euros?

You can pay in the currency you prefer by selecting your preference on the homepage.

  1.     How do I pay taxes and duties?

Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of taxes, shipping costs and duties. When you are ready to checkout the sales tax , shipping costs, and customs duties (where applicable) will be calculated on the total merchandise value. This is calculated before discounts or credits have been applied. Taxes and duties will be processed on the second payment of your order transaction.

  1.     How much are the duties on my order?

The duties can be calculated as 22% of the retail price with (All Taxes Included). Expect for the shipping to Brazil where the duties cost represent 100% of your order.

  1.     How can I receive a refund if I return my order?

For the items returned we suggest a site credit to spend on the website or we credit back your card within 14 days.

  1.     Will I get refunded if my items have been cancelled?

When an item of your order is cancelled, we refund you the amount paid on your credit card within 14 days.

  1.     Can I add items to my order or change the delivery address once is placed?

  1.     Where does PreCouture Ship to?

PreCouture offers international shipping.

  1.     Can PreCouture ship to another location other than my residence?

We can ship to any location that is most convenient for you. We always contact you before the shipping to confirm the shipping address on file is up to date.

  1.     When will the items be delivered?

Items preordered at are produced on demand only. Therefore delivery time depends on production time.  This is all specified on the product page.  Once preorder is confirmed, the lead time period is roughly 1 to 3 months for accessories and 3 to 5 months for articles of clothing.

  1.     Is my package insured?

All items are insured against theft and accidental damage while in transit from PreCouture to the delivery address. Once your items have been delivered the order is no longer covered by PreCouture insurance. If your box is damaged upon arrival, we recommend you to contact us as soon as possible at or +33 9 84 51 06 72.

  1.     How my items are packed?

Your order will be delivered in PreCouture’s signature packaging.

  1.     Can I track my order?

  1.     What is PreCouture’s return policy?

Returns are easy, fast and free for union european countries. For the rest of the world, the returns fees are your responsability (shipping cost, taxes and duties). Returns are accepted within 14 days of your delivery. All items must be in pristine condition, have not been worn, altered or washed and with all tags attached. If returning several items from the same order, all merchandise must be returned in one complete package. We can only accept returns from the country which the shipment was sent to. Please note that sale items are not refundable but can only be exchange.
