After graduating from the Rhode Island School of design in 2001, Robert Geller began his career in design. His first experience in the industrty saw him undertake a traineeship at Mark Jacobs where he remained for four collections. After this he joined with Alexandre Plokhov to reinvente Cloack, a New York based menswear brand. With a firm background in the industry, Geller then went on to launch his own collection Robert Geller during the Fall/Winter 2007 season. In 2009 Robert was named as the winner of the "Best New Menswear Designer in America" award by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). By now he had established a real name for himself within the industry, which led him to launching a second line Robert Geller Seconds. This collection was desinged with a modern twist on classic athletic style. His contribution to the menswear industry was further strengthened when in June 2011 he was named the winner of the CFDA Swarovski Award for Menswear. For the Spring Summer 2015 season, Geller launched a denim collection and each season he continues to collaborate with brands for accessories and shoes.
